Here at Swimsound we feel veryBroadgreen Swimming Swimsound 1 strongly that children should be taught personal survival skills. As the children progress through the ASA National Plan they develop their water safety skills through furthering their understanding of the water safety code, demonstrating actions for getting help and swimming with clothes on.

A World Health Organization report revealed that drowning is one of the ten leading causes of death for children. Swimming with clothes on gives children the opportunity to feel what it is like to swim with increased resistance from clothes.

Recently, our very own superhero Ste took a water safety class in his Batman onesie to teach the children water safety skills. It was thoroughly enjoyed by all!!
