Congratulations to Thomas Torpey who has
been awarded Swimsound’s Swimmer of the Month for October. Thomas is always enthusiastic and listens well to his teacher Karen. He achieved his 5 meters award in July and he has been determined to swim a width ever since. He has worked hard with his swimming since returning in September and has built up his confidence to swim 10 meters across the deeper section of our pool. Thomas also has his stage 2 and is working towards his stage 3 which will see him developing his push and glides, submersion skills and travelling 10 meters on his front / back.
After beating off tough competition from our other nominations, Thomas deserves the recognition for his determination. Well done Thomas!
