For the last couple of terms our coaches have been delivering swimming lesson to St Anne’s Primary schools’ children, to help improve the students swim technique and develop their swim confidence and skills.
Thanks to our coaches’ hard work and determination to progress these swimmers, we have seen massive progress. This week the year 6 children entered into a Liverpool school swimming gala at Wavertree Aquatics centre.
The group of talented swimmers were entered into the North Liverpool heat and competed in 20 difficult swim race events. They were competing against 8 other talented schools.
Out of the 20 races the children managed an impressive 19 wins, with a close 2nd place in the other race.
These swimming races were against 8 other competitive schools and they managed to win 19 out of 20 races which is a great achievement for the group that attended and an achievement they can be immensely proud
of.
