Our advanced lessons are for swimmers who have achieved their stage 7, which allows them to be competent and confident in the water and are at a stage where they are ready to learn a more advanced range of skills whilst building upon their strength and stamina.
Swimming Galas Each term we hold a Swimming gala to give pupils the chance to compete.
Stroke Awards Covering backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, and freestyle, these badge and certificate supported awards encourage swimmers to develop starts, turns and finishes whilst increasing speed and maintaining sound technique.
Challenge Awards Your children will be challenged to develop a wide range of skills and stamina in order to achieve the awards, with a focus on good stroke style.
Rookie Lifegaurd As well as offering parents the comfort of knowing your child is aware of the dangers of swimming in open water, the Bronze, Silver and Gold stage awards ensure children have a solid safety education, and have learned rescue and resuscitation techniques.
Water Polo We teach water polo skills and have fantastic water polo games. GB water polo players make guest appearances to teach and encourage the pupils.
