We’re delighted with the fantastic start to our Bolton swimming lessons at Ladybridge High School Pool. In just our first term, it’s been wonderful to see swimmers settling into their lessons, building confidence and enjoying their time in the water. Every week brings new opportunities to learn, practise and celebrate progress.
Opening in Bolton is an exciting new chapter for Swimsound. We’re proud to be expanding beyond Liverpool and welcoming more local families to our swimming lessons. Learning to swim is an important life skill, but lessons are also a chance to enjoy being active, try new challenges and feel more confident in the water. We’re excited to help more children develop their skills and discover a lasting enjoyment of swimming.
Bolton Swimming lessons at Ladybridge High School Pool
Ladybridge offers a fantastic setting for swimming lessons, with a 25-metre pool and depths ranging from 0.9 to 3 metres. The clean, well-maintained pool and on-site facilities provide a welcoming environment for swimmers of different ages and abilities.
Whether your child is just beginning their swimming journey or is ready to develop existing skills, our Bolton Swimming lessons provide a supportive place to learn, make progress and enjoy being in the water. Swimmers can work on building their water confidence, becoming more comfortable in the pool and developing the skills they need as they progress. Every swimmer’s starting point is different, so encouragement and practice are important parts of the learning experience.
We want families to feel welcome from their first visit. Starting somewhere new can feel like a big step for both children and parents, so creating a positive atmosphere is important to us. Our aim is for swimmers to feel supported as they get to know the pool, their teacher and their lessons. As confidence grows, children can focus on learning new skills and enjoying each stage of their swimming journey.
A welcoming team
We’re also pleased to welcome two new members of staff to our Bolton swimming lessons team. They help create a fun, positive and well-organised environment where swimmers and their families feel welcome. One of our senior team members is also based at Ladybridge, managing and delivering lessons and supporting swimmers as they build skills and progress at their own pace.
Having a team in place at the venue helps us give families a friendly point of contact and keep lessons running smoothly. It also means swimmers are greeted by staff who are there to support them and encourage their development. We’re excited to see the team grow alongside our Bolton swimming lessons and to build strong relationships with the families who join us.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us during our first month at Ladybridge. We really appreciate the enthusiasm families have shown as we establish our new venue. Your support has helped us make a positive start, and we’re looking forward to welcoming more swimmers and continuing to build our community in Bolton.

Join our Christmas Certificate Course.
Our Christmas Certificate Course is a great opportunity for swimmers to keep learning and build confidence in the pool. It’s also a chance for new families to find out more about swimming lessons at Ladybridge and for children to take another step in their swimming journey.
We’re excited about what lies ahead for Swimsound in our Bolton swimming lessons and can’t wait to see our swimmers continue to learn and progress.
