We are an Swim England Swimschool and in being so we follow the Swim England Learn to Swim Programme, which sets out a clear pathway for Swimmers to develop their skills. The Swim England Learn to Swim Programme is the national syllabus used to help teachers deliver swimming lessons. It ensures swimming lessons for all ages are delivered to a high and consistent standard.

Alongside this we offer distance awards and in the Summer we look at Rookie lifeguard Certificates for the older and more confident Swimmers

When your child has reached their Stage 7 they are invited to come to one of our Advanced Swim Lessons which concentrate a lot more on developing strength, stamina and enhancing technique.

We operate at Calderstones High, Broadgreen International, De La Salle Academy, and St Anne’s Catholic Primary School, Springwood Heath and St. Edward’s College. Our Swimming Lessons have a maximum of 6 per class in order to give your child the attention and focus they deserve. Lessons are structured and fun ensuring your child gets the very most out of their lesson.

Swimsound recognises the importance of Child Protection and follows the guidelines set by Wavepower Child Protection Policy. All our teachers have enhanced DBS checks and parents sit on poolside and support their children throughout their swimming journey.
