Congratulations Ryan you have won Swimsound’s swimmer of the month for July!   Ryan is one of our ducklings and is doing fantastically with his swimming at just 3 years old! His water confidence is phenomenal and he is developing his front crawl and backstroke. He has also received his Stage 1 this week reflecting how hard he has worked over the past few months to achieve this at such a young age. As we approach our last week of lessons Swimsound would like to thank all our members for their support throughout the year. On Sunday the 12th of June I took part in England’s biggest open water swimming event. With over ten thousand people plunging into the lake to brave the cold and choppy waters . The race proved challenging especially to begin with as you fight for your place and use perhaps too much energy in the opening burst. However I soon found my rhythm and began to build my momentum.
